Between 1841 and 1912, France established colonial rule over Grande Comore, Anjouan, Mayotte, and Moheli and placed the islands under the administration of the governor general of Madagascar. Later, French settlers, French-owned companies, and wealthy Arab merchants established a plantation-based economy that now uses about one-third of the land for export crops.
Here is the opening of the Wikipedia article. The place sounds like a real dump.
The Comoros (IPA: [kəˡmɔːɹəʊz]), officially the Union of the Comoros (French: 'Union des Comores', [ynjɔ̃ de kɔmɔʀ]; Arabic: اتحاد القمر , [ʔitːiˡħæːd ælˈqɒmær]) (prior to 2002 known officially as the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros) is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, located off the eastern coast of Africa on the northern end of the Mozambique Channel between northern Madagascar and northeastern Mozambique. The nearest countries to the Comoros are Mozambique, Tanzania, Madagascar, and the Seychelles.
The country consists of the four islands in the volcanic Comoros archipelago: Ngazidja (French: Grande Comore), Mwali (French: Mohéli), Nzwani (French: Anjouan). Comoros lays claim to Mayotte (aka. Mahoré), a neighboring island in the Comoro archipelago, which however is a French Overseas collectivity.
The Comoros is notable for its diverse culture and history, as a nation formed at the crossroads of many civilizations. It has three official languages—Comorian (Shikomor), Arabic, and French, and it is the only state to be a member of each of the African Union, Francophonie, Organization of the Islamic Conference, Arab League, and Indian Ocean Commission, among other international organizations. However it has had a troubled history since independence in 1975, marked for its inordinate amount of coups.
At 2,235 km², the Comoros is the third smallest African nation by area, and one of the smallest in the world, and with a population estimated at 798,000 it is also the sixth smallest African nation by population (though it consequently has one of the highest population densities in Africa). The Comoros is sometimes considered a microstate. Its name derives from the Arabic word qamar (moon), as seen depicted on its flag.
it came from the book of Mormon it is the angel son Moroni son of mormon
If the Lurio river delta goes out to there you are, yes. If the comorros islands are volcanic... No. If the area is faulting away from mainland Africa... probably not. If it is subducting into African plate, then subduction zone (like offshore California).
If you have surface expressions of oil then more likely. Look at your local geology and find a place off coast of US; Indonesia; or north sea that is similar. If they found oil there and the geology is the same then chances are good.
Here are some links with info. I'd go to the library or book store and try to get a travel guide, though. Good luck!

Moroni, is the capital of Comoros, which is located in the southwestern region of Njazidja (Grande Comore) island, at the northern end of Mozambique Channel
Nope, it's sheer coincidence.
Moroni is a man's name in several countries, including modern-day Italy. It predates the visit of Moroni to Joseph Smith by a few hundred years.
Some critics of the church who maintain that Joseph Smith made up the Bok of Mormon believe that he grabbed the name Moroni from the island of Comoros.
Moroni was not the capital until 1962 and Comoros did not exist as an island nation until 10 years after the Book of Mormon publication.
In the African countries you mentioned, it is not a matter of choice, most people are vegetarian because meat is too expensive. Live animals are a status symbol, the more you have the more status, therefore large animals like cattle are only killed on special occasions.
The majority of people live on crushed corn, pulses, fruit and vegetables. If meat is to be consumed, then it is more likely to be chicken or fish.
Myself, I'm not fond of the prosessed food the people in First World countries seem to crave.
Hm, can I get 10 points for knowing who she's gonna pick as the best answer? It's either going to be Dan, Andy, Kevin or Natural, because they all agree with her.
But I do love my fellow LDS for answering in good faith. But I've seen enough of OW's questions to know she always picks an anti- for the best answer if one is available.
Yes, they are all part of Africa. No, they are not all islands.
Neither Mozambique or Burkina Faso are islands.
-All are independant nations, though Comoros and Sao Tome and Principe are very small countries.
-Mozambique Sao Tome Principe both speak Portuguese as one of their main languages. (They are both former colonies of Portugal)
-Burkina Faso and Comoros both speak French as one of their main languages. (They are both former colonies of France)
-Burkina Faso is in West Africa
-Sao Tome Principe is off the coast of West Africa
-Comoros is off the coast of East Africa in the Indian Ocean
(north of the large island of Madagascar)
-Mozambique is in East Africa.
I would say, since they are both islands and are close in proximity, that the women from both look very similar. Since they are a mixture of French, English, Indian, and Asian, they are probably very beautiful.

no no no no... the farthest left would be libertarian socialism or anarchism. the farthest right would be fascism. theocracy doesn't factor into it... it depends on where the concentrations of wealth and power are. concievably you could have theocratic anarchism if the religion is say something like Jainism. there is such a thing as christian anarchists. any way it is a multy axis model.
Chavez isn't a dictator. neither was Lenin, Lenin didn't control the communist party. but yeah Castro, Stalin those would be dictators.
i'm very sorry the U.S. trained the death squads in the civil war.

Can we get news source citations for White House press releases to discern good PR from propaganda?
PR = Public Relations is by definition propaganda. White House press releases are alleged to be factual and accurate and are not footnoted when released. Reporters and opposition politicians typically are the ones that find the fallacies in these releases.
All of them are beautiful.. but i wanna see what Uzbekistan, Tajikistan.Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan look like.
